Open Evening

We are holding an open evening on Wednesday 4th March 09 at our usual meeting place (Methodist Church, Castle Street, Saffron Walden) from 8pm till 10pm.

The evening will be a chance to dust the cob webs of an instrument you may have played in your earlier years or are still playing today.

The open evening is open to all ages and playing abilities, whether you are new to an instrument or a player with experience.

A handful of instruments are available if you are unable to bring your own.

The open event should be good fun and a chance to experience playing and socializing with the band.

Don't worry if you are unable to attend the open evening, players are welcome to join us at any of our wednesday evening practice sessions.

Do You Play A Woodwind Or Brass Instrument?

 

If so Saffron Walden Town Band invites you to come along and join us on an Wednesday evening from 8pm till 10pm.

 

The band is looking for new members to come and join us and enjoy playing all sorts of new and old music, Mozart to Abba and all in between.

 

Even if you don't own an instrument the band is able to source instruments for you to use with the band or just to have a go!

 

The band is like a big family and welcomes anyone with an interest in music and most importantly having fun!
