The Saffron Walden Town Band supports many of the local charities in the area, every year we plan events to raise money for these charities, these event range from concerts, to popping into local pubs at christmas and playing a few requested carols!

 

Each year a different charity is selected to raise money for, this year the chosen charity is the Buffy Play Bus.

 

The Buffy Playbus is a registered charity and relies on donations, grants and there own fund raising efforts to provide the mobile playgroup to 15 communities throughout Uttlesford.

 

The Buffy Play Bus was also recently involved in a road traffic accident but with the help of donations and fund raising, is now back on the road.

This year we have several fund raising events planned and many in circulation coming up this year, they will be displayed on this page as a reminder for the band and anyone who wishes to suppose us at are events.
